The accompanying drawing contest was very popular with younger gardeners – the participants were aged 3 to 13 and every entry was recognized as exceptional and awarded.

In the climber recognition family contest everybody took part - from young to older ones, seasoned gardeners as well as those only now discovering the pleasures of gardening. In response to frequently asked questions concerning ways of planting climbers (especially Clematis) and methods of preparing container plants for winter, we organized demonstration of planting and winter protection techniques.
